ProClarity report giving an error message RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,
I have a PPS dashboard with ConnectionPerUser = false, and I have ProClarity installed on the same machine, and its using Basic Authentication. Is there a way to have PPS pass in the identity app pool credentials to ProClarity without prompting the users for credentials (Since it's only the identity app pool account is what would be present in the cube not the individual user accounts)? I thought that when adding the ProClarity report in the Dashboard Designer I use a specific account instead of Windows Credentials that account is what's going to be used later o when the Dashboard is published, but that doesn't seem to be happening. Please help.

  • Hello Katara,

Unfortunately Dashboard Designer can only use Windows Authentication. There is no way at this time that Dashboard Designer can use Basic Authentication. Also, when a ProClarity report is surfaced through a PPS dashboard the ProClarity report still uses the authentication method that PAS is using.
