Exchange 2007 Management Pack

Question

Within the guide for this management pack it says: Before you import the E2K7 Mgmt Pack, install the Operations Manager agent on all Exchange 2007 servers you want to manage. Can someone explain why? and what if I add a server after I have imported this management pack. thanksWednesday, August 10, 2011 7:53 PM

is not important....if you install the agent after the deploy of MP there's no problem (think about if you install another exchange server). the suggest is "install the MP only if you have an exchange server".

S.Net is right. You can first install the MP and later install an agent on an exchange box. The order does not matter, also because of the reason mentioned -> what would happen if you later add an additional exchange server? So dont worry about that part.
