Lync 2013 extremely slow RRS feed

  • Question

  • We recently upgraded (a few months ago) from Communicator to Lync 2013. Why is it so unbelievably slow and a memory hog? Communicator worked just fine.

    Any ideas?

  • Hi,

You can test the following options:

    1. Try to cancel the Option on Outlook "disable hardware graphics acceleration", then restart Lync client to test the issue.

    2. Try to repair Office and then check again.

    3. Make sure Lync client update to the latest version.

    Best Regards

  • Which server are you with Lync 2010/2013 or SFB. If you are comfortable upgrading your clients to SFB client , it has a better memory management as explained in this article.
