Project Delettion affect on Actuals reported by resources in SEM RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi All,

I was wondering how PS 2013 would behave if we delete a project schedule that had actual hours reported against it. I am reading a Custom report from timesheet table for actuals and overtime and since the project was removed I dont get total no. of hours same as before. Any tip how can I bring it back or how can that be treated to fill the gap of no. of hours....

  • Hi Syed,

I'm not a developer so maybe my reply is not relevant, but I can see that you are querying the MSP_EpmProject_UserView. Since you delete the project, it will not be anymore in this table thus it seems normal that the query cannot return the actuals still in the timesheet.

Why not retrieving all data only from the timesheet views/tables. For example the dbo.MSP_TimesheetLine_UserView will contain by period the actual/overtime/billable/non billable, the planned work, the project name, the resource name, task name, class type, status...

    Hope this helps,
