Non-well formed e-mail message can't be copied, Outlook 2003 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi Folks,

I am trying to copy some messages from "Sent Items" to a different folder in Outlook 2003.  I am getting a message that says, "one or more parameter values are not valid".  I exported the "Sent Items" folder to a csv and I can see that the offending message has a blank "To:" field, which I assume is the problem, since there are no other problems I can find.  This message was sent, apparently, with only the "BCC:" field set.  Since this is not a corruption, ScsnPST, of course, finds nothing that needs to be repaired.  And, since it is already sent there is no way to edit the "To:" field and repair it.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks for the help,

  • I don't know if this would be an option for you, but you could resend the message to yourself and remove the bcc.  It would then be in the sent folder in its original form.  You could then delete the old one.
