Modify Right-Click Context Menu in Start RRS feed

  • Question

  • In many cases, the right-click context menu can be modified through the registry. For example, VBscripts can be modified to show Run as Administrator when they are not technically permitted to show it normally. Even with this enabled in most cases, such as through the location of the script in explorer.exe, the modification to the context menu does not show in the Start Menu. Is there a different customization necessary to enable something such as Run as Administrator on a VBscript?

  • Hi Jared,

The right click context menu of apps or folder on the Start Menu cannot be customized via registry.

This is Windows hard code feature and cannot be modified.
