WMI Interface to control Windows Disk Protection?? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I noticed in several threads that Rob mentions a WMI interface to control Windows Disk Protection.

Where can I get that, or please explain?

    Thanks,

    Dale

  • Hi,

We have a KB article coming soon that documents the interface.  I'll post here when it's available.

  • Hi,

The KB article describing the WMI interface was published today.  Here's the URL:  http://support.microsoft.com/kb/938335

  • Rob,

The knoweldgebase article does point in the right direction, and I appreciate the information. Do you know of an example code to check or change a list of PC's status running Windows Disk Protection?

I think I can speak for a lot of people like myself that want to switch to this new version of WDP.  Time is limited of those of us who manage public computers, and we need something that can make changes to groups of computers at a time.

    Thanks,

    Dale
