RADIUS Authentication RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hey all,

Forgive me in advance if I am not the best with terms or acronyms as I am sort of new to Windows Server.  I am looking to implement a RADIUS solution and using server 2008 with a linksys E2000 wireless access point.  I defined the RADIUS client with the IP address to look for and defined all of the policies...I think.  I am not doing anything at all with Active Directory. Dumb question, I am trying to login with a username and password of an account on the server.  Please correct me if I am needing to define anything else.  I defined a connection request policy and network policy but when I try and login I keep getting Invalid Password on my laptop and the Event Viewer on the server shows there was a connection attempt but it was rejected because it didn't match the connection policy.  Thanks in advance for the help.

    Here is the output:

    SubjectUserSid S-1-0-0
    SubjectUserName Administrator
    SubjectDomainName -
    FullyQualifiedSubjectUserName -
    SubjectMachineSID S-1-0-0

  • Hi,

Setup Deployment forum focus on the Windows Server Operating System.

Any questions about the deployment in the Windows Server roles or features, you’d better ask your question in the specific forum, after reviewing the thread, it seems that the issue is related to the RADIUS Authentication issue.

I believe the following forum will be better to ask:

    Title: Network Access Protection
