  • Hi, Exchange thru this error:

    An error occurred on database "First Storage Group\Mailbox Database".

    Function name or description of problem: Content Indexing received an unusual and unexpect error code from MSSearch

    Error: 0x80041606

    How do I fix this?

  • and functionality which is broken is...?

    and the version of SBS is...?

    and the service pack and rollup level of exchange is....?

    If by any chance you are running less thant exchange 2010 sp1 rollup 5 this kb may help http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2616127

    It seems the error has corrected itself.  In retrospect:

    SBS2008 Premium Update Rollup 6
    Exchange 2007 Update Rollup 9 SP3
