How to Suppress/Disable Security Center Notifications only

  • Guys,

    We are using a 3rd party AV so we disable Windows Defender. Unfortunately, when we do this we receive balloon messages stating that Defender is turned off.

    Obviously this alarms our users. Is there a way to disable or suppress the Security Center Notification without  completely turning off the entire action and notification center?

    I see some examples in the replies from that link I provided above, but am hoping to find out how other organizations are handling this (or if there's a supported/native way to handle it).

  • Hi ,

    Go to settings > System > Notifications & actions, under "Get notifications from these senders", turn off "Security and Maintenance" as shown below. Check if it helps.
