  • Hi,

please have a look at the Skype for Business 2015 Protocol Workloads Poster : https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=46448

You need to check first if the issue occurs when its internal sharing or external sharing. Does problem occurs also when both clients are connected through internal/corp network?

Please check you Edge servers as well, if all your subnets have been added.

  • Hi Off2work,

We are using internal/corp network, the problem is that Protocol Worklodas Poster not include the TCP Port: 5370, 5365, 5357 and UDP 5388 as part of the ports list.

As soon as we open those port, desktop sharing work. We need to send the MS documentation to the security teem as part of formal request from Microsoft.

    Thanks,

    Jose

  • Hi,

Based on my research, you can refer to the documents below, check which port is required for desktop sharing

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/skypeforbusiness/manage/video-based-screen-sharing

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/skypeforbusiness/plan-your-deployment/network-requirements/ports-and-protocols

  • Hi Alice,

Thanks for the information, looks like the ports are part of the VbSS sessions, so the problem appears during desktop sharing feature. According with the information the client need the following port:

    Clients
    1024-65535
    TCP/UDP
    Application sharing.
