Won't Save Multiple Display Configuration After Reboot RRS feed

  • Question

  • I lose the location of my multiple displays in Windows 7 after I reboot my computer.  In other words, if my secondary display is set to be to the left of my primary display, after reboot, it resets to appear on the right of my primary display.  This does not happen if I logoff from the user profile and log back in.

I have updated my display drivers (ATI Radeon X1650), but nothing else seems to work.  Any ideas?

  • Hi,

I am sorry to tell you this is a driver problem. So if the issue can not be resolved after upgrading the latest driver, I suggest to contact the manufacturer.

Also, if you install the whole driver suite, you may check whether the suite control center have any option to set the multiple display.
