  • Hi Deepak,

Would you please give us more information about “add the Lync 2013 FE in SFB topology”, did you mean that after the migration process, you want to add the previous Lync server 2013 to SFB 2015's topology?

If you complete the migration Lync 2013 to SFB, you should remove the Lync 2013 in SFB topology, the following document is for you reference.

  • Hi Deepak,

You could add the Lync 2013 FE in the SFB topology, but i don't recommend ,whether you want to make a co-existence environment ?

  • Hi Deepak ,

After you accomplish the migration from Lync server 2013 to SFB server 2015, you can add new Lync 2013 topology in SFB topology.

When you just migrated the CMS from Lync server 2013 to SFB 2015, you can’t add new Lync 2013 FE in SFB topology.

If you have some doubts about the migration, the following document is for your reference.
