Control Panel .cpl not showing up RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have sequenced an app that contains a control panel .cpl file. I can see the file in the VFS and can launch it by directly typing it in with its name in a virutal command box but it does not show up in control panel?

it shows on the base box when sequencing it, but not when testing the sequence on a seperate client.

The file is in the C:\windows\syswow64 file area.

Is this a common theme in AppV?

Im using Windows 10, and the built-in client, also using sequncer v10.0.17134.1.

    Thanks. brynrogers

  • Your control panel does not run in the virtual environment of your app-v package, and therefor you're not seeing your cpl. There's no out of the box integration for this at the moment (and I suppose there will never be).

S0, just create a shortcut to you cpl, and you're good to go.
