  • Question

  • I get this error when opening the Management Console on Exchange 2010.

The Exchange Trusted Subsystem is a local Admin.

  • The new Exchange 2010 server was not a member of the Exchange Trusted Subsytem group in AD. However, that group was a local admin on the server itself. Problem solved.

  • What if you right click the emc and do right as administrator does it work?

  • I always open the EMC by right-clicking.

To make matters more complicated and maybe this explains the behavior, this client has a very unusal setup here. They have 1 Forest with two domains. However, the domains are different trees. Each domain has one Exchange 2010 server. Not sure if there is some permissions issue here, but the error is Access is Denied.
