Exchange 2007 GAL and Address List

Question
-
Hello, I currently have a default GAL and another Address list. I would like to have this secondary address list setup so that only certain people can see its contacts. I plan on having a separate OU with contacts that would feed this address list, so far I have been able to hide it with a 'This bookmark is not valid.' error, which is acceptable. However I would like to make sure that the contacts I place in this OU do not show up in the default GAL, or any others for that matter. Please advise. Thanks.
This is Exchange 2007 with Office 2007 clients.

Hi Andy,
If you read the article you may notice that the GAL segregation is actially Permission segregation--based on OU.
From my research, the similar function you are looking for is expected to be realeased in Exchang 2010 SP2.

Hi Andy,
What you want to do is known as GAL segregation. It is supported in Exchange 2007 SP1, but NOT recommended.

I appreciate the answer, I did see that but am not too anxious to try that. Is there a way to only allow read access to a group on an OU that contains these contacts? And they will only show up to the people that are a part of that group. My lab environment is down so I cannot test this.
