Can't find a valid path to upgrade RRS feed

    Simple question... I have original SCCM 2012 (no SP).  Trying to upgrade to R2 SP1 but won't let me... Figure I need to go each step SP1, SP2, R2, R2 SP1...

    I've worked backward through these to SP1.  It tells me the Database fails.  When beginning this process, all the latest downloads included SQL 2014 Std, so I upgraded to that.  I think I may have gone past the allowed SQL versions for the SP1 installation and am stuck...

    Any ideas how I can get SP1 to install if I've upgrade my DB to SQL 2014? Do I need to install some extra SQL patch first for 2014?  It says on the requirements that 2014 with no SP, but that says for a system already at SCCM SP1 CU4(?)...

    The latest SQL that support a SCCM 2012 RTM (no SP) site is SQL 2008 R2 SP2.

    Now if I understand well ... you've migrated your SQL to 2014 ? You're now in an unsupported situation.

    I would restore to the version you had before the upgrade (2008?) and restore the SCCM database.

    Once restored, since you have SCCM 2012 (no SP, no R2), you will need to upgrade to SCCM 2012 SP2 and then you could migrate to SCCM 2012 R2 SP1 if you need the R2 features. (SC2012_SP2_Configmgr_SCEP.exe + SC2012_R2_SP1_Configmgr.exe)
