Access Denied, when update gpo or adding new gpo RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am using a windows 7 PC to try to update the AD in a company I am newly hired. I was asked to begin working in the Active Directory to familiarize myself with the company structure, and begin a migration of servers and users. We wanted to simply test how this would all be put in place. When we select Group Policy Objects and try to add a new one, named "TEST" we get this error--I have tried different names as well. I am connected to the domain I am trying to access already as a Domain Admin, and I have changed the User Securities for both my account and the Domain Admins. I have also delegated Full Control and even checked the policy in AD users and computers. Please help as I cannot do anything besides change security options for all these settings.
