  • Hi All

    One of my application is not able to trigger emails. i want to test email flow from command prompt from that server, its windows server. i have opened command prompt, will the below commands work for me

    telnet myconnector.mydomain.com 25

    EHLO mail.mydomain.com
    mail from: user1@mydomain.com 
    rcpt to: user2@mydomain.com 
    data
    Subject: test

  • Put subject before data, but that's pretty much how to do it. Note that this will initiate an anonymous email send, which many mail servers will reject. If this doesn't work, consider using the send-mailmessage cmdlet in powershell.
