How do I free up my CPU from Hardware conflicts? RRS feed

  • Question

  • My CPU is utilized most of the time by hardware conflicts, I have measured it by taskmanager. However device manager doesn’t shows up but process manager indicated that background hardware conflicts are consuming the CPU, resulting in slow processing. Windows XP,intel i6, 1 ghz & 6gb ram, 64-bit.

Answers

    • Quit the unused process (via task manager) and do not run more than 10 programs at a time.
    • Also run the "msconfig" and un-check the all process except anti virus
    • Do not add any program in start-up
