Vista Scheduler

Question
-
For the longest time, I had to run backups manually because they would not start as scheduled (Mondays at 9:00 PM). I then defined a task to display a message and scheduled it to run 5 minutes before the start of the backups (Mondays 8:55 PM). This too would not start. Through pure coincidence, I happened to be logged-on today Monday at 10:30 PM and both the test message and the backups started approximately 90 minutes after their scheduled time and 5 minutes apart. The Scheduler's "clock" seems to be off, how do I fix ? Running Vista SP2, maintenance is current. The computer clock is set correctly and with the correct time zone
Thanks,
