SharePoint Services HelpDesk Template RRS feed

  • I am running windows server 2008 with SharePoint services.

    I have setup the following HelpDesk Template:

    It appears to be setup correctly because I was able to create a new site based on this template.

    The problem is when I submit new requests they show up on the site but nothing else happens.

    I would like to have an alert emailed to our IT Manager every time a new request is submitted and then give him the ability to assign the request to another employee. Can this be done?
