  • Hi,

When you encounter this problem, Open Task Manager, then choose and right click the webproxy process, then choose open file location.

After that, end the process and delete the file to fix this problem.

  • Hi,

According to your description, I doubt this should be the application itself problem, there is no relationship with Windows. It would be better to contact the developer of this app  for further assistance.

In addition, to resolve the problem, you can try to delete its file manually.

Please delete C:\Program Files (x86)\WebFreerr folder, also check C:\windows\sysWOW64\ folder if it had this webproxy.exe, if so, delete it.

  • Hi,

According to your description, your system probably infected by malware. You can try to use Malicious Software Removal Tool to scan your system for test.
