How do I get the underlining included IN the topic OUT of the answer to the topic? RRS feed

  • My preformatted work sheet that I have to make reports on from work have topics which are underlined. The employer does not want the answers to also be underlined yet when I answer the topic the underlining of the topic continues into the response I give. I tried going to a new line but the underlining is picked up there also. I need to answer without the underlining. Yes, I'm not very tech saavy. Thanks anyone who can help.

  • Hi,

    See the picture below, you mean that in the first line, you format it Underlined. And when you entered to a new line, the Underline format keeps, and you don’t want it Underlined, am I right?

    If so, then when you go to a new line, see the U button in the Home tab -> Font group. If it is in yellow, then it indicates that Underline format is enabled. Just click it to disable it.
