I have about 5-10 users who have lost network access when System Center deploys Endpoint Protection. (1 is XP and the rest Windows 7)
Each client's IP address is set to the IP listed below and network set to public
169.254.178.247
255.255.0.0
It is somehow blocking the client from picking up a correct network IP from our DHCP Network server
I have disabled realtime protection in the malware policy after reading some posts that it could be the network inspection causing the issue but the clients still are having issues.
On one machine, i have completely uninstalled the CSM Client and Endpoint protection completely and still the client is not getting a correct network IP. If i give the client a manual IP, the client machine works fine.
It is System Center 2012 SP1 with Forefront Protection
Any help appreciated.
