Alternate Access Mapping for External Access - Project Server 2010 RRS feed

  • How should alternate access mapping be setup in SharePoint for external access to Project Server 2010.  The internal site is accessed at http://x1test/pwa.  Externally, I will access the site as

  • Hello Joe,

    Since NetBIOS (80) is on http, FQDN (443) is on https, I would do as below.

    Consider: You created SSL certificate for your FQDN and enabled "Require SSL certificate" option, In that case you have to extend the site on additional zone to configure the other port.

    Otherwise the above steps using Alternate Access Mappings will help you to configure multiple URLs. (less secure)
