Hi,
Yeah, I think this is reasonable, there would be a next service pack in future if it's necessary, but there is no any state to confirm this currently. We can keep eyes on the news of Microsoft websites.

You need to contact the project manager for Win 7 SP2, if there is such a project. He/She will be the only one that has any idea about if and when it is anticipated to be released. There has not been any public notices of any activity on a Win 7 SP2.

There probably wont be a SP-2 (IMHO) for win 7. AFAIK there arent enough outstanding bugs to warrant it. Why do you think you need it?

Well as the number of updates increase, they take longer to install. Looking at some of the hotfixes out there, these are normally included in a service pack.Monday, September 17, 2012 2:39 PM

Correct! It would be nice to update our image with SP2 and a few updates, fixes & patches. Not SP1 and 150 odd updates, fixes and patches. Big difference...Tuesday, September 18, 2012 6:13 AM -

No outstanding bugs..... what about 140+ updates that are needed on a clean install. I think that alone should be enough to warrant a SP2.Tuesday, July 30, 2013 8:03 AM
