Uninstallation of exchange 2010 gives some errors RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi, after running

    Setup.com /mode:Uninstall /roles:HT,CA

There was a problem accessing the registry on this computer. This may happen if the Remote Registry service is not running. It may also indicate a networkproblem or that the TCP/IP Netbios Helper service is not running.

The Exchange Server setup operation didn't complete. More details can be foundin ExchangeSetup.log located in the <SystemDrive>:\ExchangeSetupLogs folder.Exchange Server setup encountered an error.

All Services mentioned in error are running. Computer browser is also running.

  • Hi,

Please refer to the following method and try again:

1.Go to Control Panel>Network and Internet>Network and Sharing Center>Advanced sharing settings

2.Check which network card is at the top and it should have "File and Printer Sharing" enabled to access the remote registery.

    Hope this helps!

    Thanks.

  • Hi,
Might be that you didn't start CMD with elevated privileges (Run As Administrator). That would cause the error got so...
