Remove Deployments for CU3 After 2012 R2 SP1 Installed? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello -

We have recently upgraded from SCCM 2012 R2 CU3 to SCCM 2012 R2 SP1 and I was wondering if it's OK to remove the the deployments we previously had for the CU3 package to go out to all the systems. I'm thinking it is since we want all the systems on SP1 now and I don't think it requires CU3 (or any other CU for that matter) to be in place. Is this correct?

    Thanks in advance!

  • Hi

Yes, you can remove the CU3 deployment pacakge.

once you updated the SCCM 2012 R2 SP1, it will update the client pacakge source as well from the Primary site server + site systems.

  • Hi,

It is as you write OK to remove them as they are not needed anymore.
