Windows 10 COA

    Question

  • I purchased a Win10 Home 64 disk from New Egg. It says Windows 10 Home for OEM.

It has a sticker that says 'This is not a COA'.

It has a label from Microsoft that has barcodes on it.

I do not see a traditional product key label.

Am I missing something? I cannot activate Windows.

  • Hi MVHLSC7,

Have you installed Windows 10 from the disk?
If there is no product key on the disk, I think the key is included in the disk. Please try to install Windows 10 from the disk and connect to the Internet then check whether the installation will be activated automatically.
Since you got the disk with a third party method, you`d better to ask for help from a third party support.

    Best regards

Is your Win 10 Home disk come inside an envelope ?
Look for something in the envelope where you can scratch like an instant lottery ticket.
That is where your product key is concealed.

Be careful how you scratch that cover. Use your fingernail.

  • Make sure to remove the concealment correctly. Use your nail or coin to scratch the silver surface off.
