Unable to connect to network RRS feed

  • When I try to connect to a site to retrieve data (as an example TurboTax for updates or import from Financial Institutions) I get a message saying I am not coneected to the network. However, my internet connection is working and my remote desktop is working. I checked my connection and it says I am connected. I ran troubleshoot and it says it cannot find anything wrong. Something is blocking my ability to get updates, downloads or registration to software. I am on Vista and a desktop computer.
