ALT+0169 Doesn't work after windows 8.1 had to be re-installed RRS feed

  • I had a problem in the root drive?  Anyway had to have my windows 8.1 re-installed on my laptop.  I need to use the copyright symbol.  the ALT+0169 no longer works to input the symbol

    This might seem like it has nothing to do with the problem, but turn off "sticky keys". It's known to cause problems with this.

    According to our test, it is available to type copyright symbol with ALT+0169 on numpad.
    If you use laptop, try to type it using on-screen keyboard to troubleshoot whether the issue is caused by the keyboard.
    Or you can type “00A9” and then press Alt+X, the © symbol will replace 00A9.
