After reading your post I understand that you can’t ping ; manage and trace your client from your server.
Have your try disable the Firewall of your client and attempt test again?
Could you post the server and client ‘s “ipconfig /all” result here ?
For access the computer ,you must setting IP address currently first.
For access remote computer via ping and tracert command ,please excepted the ICMP protocol on each side’s firewall.
