Numerous processes of microsoft .net assembly registration utility RRS feed

  • Hi,

    I have multiple processes of "microsoft .NET assembly registration utility" in my task manager.

    I am talking about ~40 processes.


    I am not think if should be like that.
    If not, what should I do to get it work properly?

    When did this issue occur ?Have you made any modifications to the machines recently ?

    Microsoft .NET assembly registration utility is part of Microsoft® .NET Framework and developed by Microsoft Corporation and it is usually located in the 'C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v4.0.30319\' folder.Please check the location of this process.We also can use the windows Process Explorer to check the detailed information of this process .

    Please take the following steps to have a troubleshoot :
    1.Try a clean boot to verify whether it is caused by a third party service .

    2.Perform a full scan with the antivirus software .
    3.Run "sfc /scannow" to check the health of the system .
    4.Run the repair tool to repair the .Net Framework.

    5.If the issue persists,update the .Net Framework or reinstall the .Network framework.The latest version is .Network Framework 4.5.2 and it is applied to the Windows 7 sp1.
    Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Programs and Features\Turn Windows features on or off
    Navigate to the .Net Framework and uncheck it ,restart the machine .
