Error when trying to install SCCM Client through Software Update point RRS feed

    I have a standalone SCCM System and i am trying to deploy sccm client through software upodate point. i have enabled it on SCCM and configured group policy update. The software shows up on the client but wont install. It fails with a code 6 error. Has anyone had this technical issue before?

    Do you see a ccmsetup.log  under c:\ccmsetup ?

    I got the following error. The client was fine when i used a script install but i uninstalled the client and tried software update but this is affecting all the clients.

    Did you publish the site information in AD, DNS record or WINS. 

    Because the client can't find a MP to get the information for the install.

    Yes, i did published the site information in AD. I have just checked the setting on SCCM and it says succeeded

    I also noticed the client software installs if i configure the MP point information through group policy. That would mean its not getting the information from AD. Is there are way i can troubleshoot this?
