Video colour wrong RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have a HP Pavillion Slimline s3624uk desktop with Windows Vista Premium OS and is experiencing problems - ie when I play sample videos or prerecorded ones the videos run OK except the colour is all wrong, no red colour present. For example the built-in example video from the PC "C:\Users\Public\Videos\Sample Videos\Butterfly.wmv" the flower in the video which is red in the library picture, appears green on the video.

It does not matter which programme it is running on, Windows Media Player, Windows Media Center or Windows Movie Maker the problem is the same. When displaying pictures, photos, charts colour font displays & the graphics for the monitor are OK.

  • Hi,

Did you change another monitor to check this issue?

How and when did this issue occur?

What about to restore the system to a previous point before the issue occurs?

Also, this issue can be caused by the damaged of graphics card. You may also contact HP support to check this issue.
