Windows Server 2008 R2 - DNS - Supply different IP depending on OU or Subnet RRS feed

  • Question

  • I need to split up a terminal server into two different terminal servers. Currently, all the users connect with (just an example) the "Server" DNS record but we are making the new servers "Server1" and "Server2". Is there any way we can make it so users in a certain OU or connecting from a certain subnet (they are separated) will receive a different server IP when they query "Server"?

There are very many clients that we cannot simply change the connection IP on via GPO as they are old Linux based thin clients that are on their way out. This would be nice to use in the meantime while we travel to each site and change them all manually.

    Thank you for any help!
