Do you have the service packs installed?
Try to Run Vb6 under compatiblity mode / or run it as administrator and see if that resolves your problem
btw I highly suggest you to move from VB6 to VB.NET for the long run. :).

Thank u for your replay Ananda,
which service Packs do you mean ? for the vb6 or for the win 7 ?

The VB 6 service packs - This problem should not occur try to uninstall and re-install vb6 with its latest service pack.

Thank you Ananda,
i did what you suggest, install the vb6 with sp6...no change...
it seems like the win 7 missing the Supplemental language support wich can be found under Regional and Language Option in Win Xp,
and there we could add the files for right-to-left lanuages.
i think we have to look for somthing like that in Win 7...?
Thank You

Ram did you ever find a solution to the problem ?
I'm suffering from it as well. All VB apps (not just the IDE) are missing right to left support.
I tried installing Hebrew MUI, didn't help as well.Tuesday, October 20, 2009 3:45 PM -
Hi Dan,
no i did not find any solution....yet.
if i will find anything i'll publish it here.
