White space/Database Size in Exchange 2007 Standard

  With the introduction of Exchange Server 2007, there are some changes to the Standard Edition so that it now supports up to 5 Databases and up to 5 Storage Groups with Standard Edition.  Each of these Databases has a size limit of 16 TB.

  However, you need to use the Registry Editor to modify a database size limit.

  Hi,

  I was pretty sure they removed the limit on Exchange 2007 Std and Ent edition but you still need to set the registry key (same as Ex2003SP2) to continue to have the store size grow. Check your registry key it's probably been set to 256GB. Start regedit, browse to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\MSExchangeIS\<Servername>\Private-GUID and check theDWORD key “Database Size Limit in GB".
