What is the best protection in Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 from different kinds of "smart Aleks" RRS feed

    Dear Mr. Kerry Brown,

    will you be so kind to help with your advice. What is the best protection in Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 from

    different kinds of "smart Aleks" ? How to get rid of different kinds of "guests" and other dishonest people who has 

    no shame and no respect to the people either, spying on them? I mean getting on somebody's computer without

    permission, and changing or installing something on somebody's else machine with no shame! Thank you in

    advance.

    Windows Defender is a antivirus software built-in with Windows 8.1 and Windows 10. Usually it should be safely enough to protect the machine. To make it work well, please ensure the machine is always up to date.
    In addition,  pay attention to the internet contents when you surfer the Internet. Don`t download the unknown application or contents to the machine.
