    Hi Santosh,

Ask that user to login from any other system available. and then see results.

If problem prsists or resolves, then it will be taken care accordingly.

    Regards

  •  Hi Santosh,

Ask the user to log into the PWA site from other Machine if same error occurs than

Log into the PWA site through administrator privilege and go to Manage users-> select the user and resave it.

Now clear the IE Cache and Cookies and try to access the site as http://servername/pwa

  • Santosh,

Try enabling and disabling user delegation. Also instead of PWA home page, let us know if user can access following pages

    http://servername/pwa/_layouts/pwa/Timesheet/MyTSSummary.aspx

    http://servername/pwa/projects.aspx

  • Hi,

Add the site to a trusted site in that users machine.

Check if there is any grouppolicy is causing it.

Check if your machine and that user's machine present in the different network.

  • Hi Santosh--

The first troubleshooting step is still not answered. Did the user try on other machine to validate if issue is machine specific?

    Thanks,

  • Hi Santosh--

In that case, please compare a resource account (working )with the uses's account & see if there is anything missed out?
Also, would suggest to look into the ULS logs for unexpected error with matching correlationID.

    Thanks,

  • Hi Amit

I have compared with another resource who can able to access PWA site and no differences between any account.

i couldnt get any clue from ULS logs as well as event logs for this particular correlation ID

    Regards

    Santosh

  •  Hi Santosh,

Have you reset the IIS? If not than Run the configuration Wizard once and try to reset the IIS and check . Also use the ULS viewer to check out the ULS Log.

  • Was this error ever resolved?  I too have multiple users experiencing this issue.  It seems like they are stuck in a view only when looking a the Project Center page.  They are able to view other page's in PWA.

  • Shawn,

Your scenario could be different, It could be due to bad project plan or corrupt view or CU issue, My recommendation is to open new thread with detailed description of the issue and error from ULS log.

  • Is this an Unknown error or an Unexpected error?

    Is this your error:

    http://pietremen.blogspot.co.nz/2012/01/project-centre-unknown-error-has.html

If so it has been solved by a CU.
