Public Folder shared calendar to Room mailbox calendar or shared calendar? RRS feed

  • Question

  • We are moving from Exchange 2003 to 2010. We have public folder shared calendars in Exchange 2003, but we'd like to move away from public folders when we move to 2010: We can either use resource mailbox calendars or just shared calendars.

The question is, is there any way we could export the calendar items that were on the public folders and import them into a resource mailbox calendar or shared calendars?

    Thanks for the help!

  • Hi,
You can't export public folder items in Exchange, but you can copy or move the calendar items with Drag&Drop using Outlook or OWA.

  • If you add the PFs as favorites in Outlook, you can export them to a pst from there.

  • You can export Public Calendar to pst file by using Outlook. And then open the pst and copy items to a resource mailbox calendar or shared calendars.
