Hi,
For the event 10102, please perform thefollowing steps to disable the rule via override.
1. Navigate to the Authoring Space in the Console.
2. Select “Rules” under “Management Pack Objects”.
3. Type “Performance Data Source Module” in the “Look for:” box and click “Find Now”. Be sure a Scope is not set or filtering the “Health Service” Target.
4. Find the rule, “Performance Data Source Module could not find a performance counter” under “Type: Health Service (2)”, right-click, select “Overrides”, “Disable the Rule”, “For all objects of type: Health Service”.
5. When prompted, “Are you sure you want to disable this rule for Health Service?” click “Yes”.

Thanks.

Hi,
Have you run the 32 bit version of ASP.NET on the server? If so, try a new installation with the correct version of Asp.net, which may help you resolve this problem.Thanks.

Hi,
We have not installed the 32bit version of .Net on the server. As I mentioned in my original post, this error only started after installing the SCE agent manually on the server.
I can reinstall .Net to see if this will resolve my issue, but I thought it would be wish to yet you know, incase SCE is updating the aspperf.dll.

Hi Yog Li,
Is this a solution for Event Id:10102 ?
Can you please help me out to resolve this error event, instead of suppressing the event alert.
I am getting this 10102 and 1003 event for all the Agent Managed clients.
I think SCOM will not collect performance data for those issues , then what result SCOM will provide for monitoring of performance.
I am also getting :
Event Type: Error
Event Source: HealthService
Event Category: Health Service
Event ID: 4511
Date: 24/06/2008
Time: 14:54:38
User: N/A
Computer: **********
Description:
Initialization of a module of type "GroupStateChangeDS" (CLSID "{C214366A-A4FC-4E05-8F7B-20BA04AEF520}") failed with error code Element not found.
causing the rule "Microsoft.Windows.Cluster.DisableOverrideForVirtualServer" running for instance "Cluster Service" with id:"{BD895C66-E0A7-85C0-80E4-F9DE5FB634F8}" in management group "*********".For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.
More over , I am still not able to get SQL DB ,SQL DB Engine, SQL DB Agent Data available in Console.I have enabled "Proxying" for all the physical node of SQL Cluster, Enabled Discovery and Monitor for the above still no result.
Can you please tell me is it a BUG or I am doing any thing wrong.
N.B., SCOM 2007 is collecting data for only the SCOM DB which is installed on the same server of SCOM 2007.Not any other SQL 2005 Server.
I need your help urgently, otherwise we have to look for any other product.
