Exchange server 2013, calender permission not working RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

We are running a hybrid Exchange server 2013 on premise with office 365. We would like to share calenders amongst management that allows editing of 3 different calenders. We have created an exchange security group in the exchange admin center and added the three users. Using the add-mailboxfolderpermission to add this security group to each of the three users with access rights editor (confirmed by get-mailboxfolderpermissions). However, when we add the user in the kalender it still does not allow to add an appointment. The kalender still shows the little icon stating to request permission to show more details on this calender. Next step was to use the standard way to request this permission. The user recieved the request and replied with the approval. The user recieving the approval clicked then on 'open calender' - and recieved an error message the folder you selected is not availabe.

  • Is the group a mail-enabled universal security group?
