Baseline Display Anomaly RRS feed

  • Question

  • Has anyone else experienced the following?

Set the baseline for your schedule and elect to display the Baseline from the Format Ribbon.

Baseline and Current Tasks do not align perfectly even though no changes have been made to the schedule since it was Baselined.

Change the Date Format in File>Options>General to include the Time and the Gantt Bars for Baseline and Current Tasks are then perfectly aligned.

I suspect this occurs when the Enterprise Base Calendar is not the same as the default provided by Microsoft Project.

I have experienced this a couple of times now and at first thought it would be because the File>Options>Schedule settings were not in Synch with the Enterprise Base Calendar settings but was not the case.

Changing the Date Format should in theory have no impact on the schedule as it is to my mind purely a "display" parameter but it does appear to fix the anomaly.
