SMSPXEIMAGES not appearing in distribution point list

Question
-
Hi
I am trying to setup OSD and have installed MS MDT and followed the link for installing the PXE and WDS roles (http://blogs.technet.com/b/configurationmgr/archive/2011/01/05/troubleshooting-the-pxe-service-point-and-wds-in-configuration-manager-2007.aspx),
however when i try to move the boot images to the PXE distribution point using the "Update Distribution points" wizard it doesn't show the option only my DP shows??
Also when i use the same wizard to move the Image (.wim) file to the DP nothing happens?? and the distmgr.log does not update.
any ideas on where i can troubleshoot? i can browser to \\servername\smspxeimages$ but theres nothing there.
many thanks

Troubleshooting the PXE Service Point and WDS in Configuration Manager 2007
It mentions: If the folders are missing, empty, or missing files, then BOTH the x64 and x86 Boot Images may not have been placed in the SMSPXEIMAGES$ DP. If both the x64 and x86 Boot Images have been placed on the SMSPXEIMAGES$ DP and the folders still do not exist, are empty, or are missing files, then there may be another problem occurring. The best course of action is to reinstall the PXE Service Point and WDS as described in the section "Reinstalling WDS And The PXE Service Point".

In addition to the link provided by Henk, have you reviewed distmgr.log?
Is the PSP healthy (check under site status)?
