Question about deploying SCCM 2012 Client by GPO

does the deployment of SCCM 2012 Client by GPO will require file and printer sharing to be allowed via firewall ? and why ? GPO deployment uses file shares to locate the packages !

File and printer sharing is only needed for client push, not for GPO deployments.

GPO installation doesn't require any firewall port access.....u need to open only port 80 for communication to site server...

Thanks Torsten for the information. I get confused that the GPO software deployment is by folder share so it uses file share protocol ...but I found that this is wrong.
