I am trying to install Vista SP2(KB948465) but it keep failing with error code 80070020.
I have a Dell laptop running Windows Vista for Business (32-bit)
I have already tried the following:
You receive error 0x80070020 when you use the Windows Update Web site or the Microsoft Update Web site to install updates

Method 1: If the issue still persist refer the below link to run the automatic troubleshooter.

Method 3: Download Service pack 2 standalone pack and try to install.

Are they any logs I can provide that will give more informatin. If so, let me know where to get them.

I did an in-place upgrade, and everything went OK.
After that I checked for any windows update, and 132 were reccommended.
When all the updates had been installed, I had to restart the laptop, but
it froze on the configuring updates screen.
I then had to a system restore, using the installation CD, back to before
the updates.
This time I installed the updates in batches accoording to year of release.
The oldest were done first. This method resulted in success.
Over the next few days I checked for any windows update, and eventually
I was presented with KB948465(Vista SP2). This time the installation went ahead
problems.
