Aero interface, Win 7 Enterprise, and Hyper-V Guest RRS feed

  • Question

  • I setup Windows 7 Enterprise in a HyperV Guest and the Guest has 4GB of (non video) RAM.  The Aero interface does not appear to be enabled (no "semi-transparent" windows, for example).  What do I need to "tweak" or is Aero simply not supported in HyperV Guests?

    TIA,

  • Afaik Hyper-V doesn't support Aero Glass in Guests. Use VMWare Palyer 3/VMWare Workstation 7 instead. Both offer Aero Glass suport for Vista/7 guests.
