I'm moving our SQL cluster backup from dpm 2010 to 2012r2
having removed both servers successfully from the old dpm box one of the sql vm's wil lnot install the agent for the 2012r2 dpm box the other sql box has installed the agent without problems
giving the following error
Install protection agent on xxxxxxx failed:
Error 313: The agent operation failed because an error occurred while running the installation program on SVR-SQL2.sch.local.
Error details: Fatal error during installation (0x80070643)
Recommended action: Review the log files on xxxxxxxxxx: [windir]\temp\msdpm*.log and take appropriate action. Retry the operation, and if the error persists, restart the computer and then retry the operation again.
any ideas how I can get this agent installed?
